About Angie

A little bit about me: I became interested in optimizing my own health because I had no direction of what to eat or how to be healthy growing up. In fact, my childhood consisted of eating Taco Bell and Little Debbie Cakes! So I set out to do my own research. Being a confused teenager led me down the low-fat, processed food diet among others- think: LOTS of Lean Cuisine meals and non-fat yogurt (gross). Finally, I came across real factual information about nutrition. I started doing CrossFit and shared my passion by helping other members with their own nutrition and fitness plans.

So then I went to Bastyr University, recognized as the leading health arts and sciences university in the world. Then I went on to complete my Master of Science (MS) degree in Sport's Nutrition from Leeds Beckett University in England, one of the largest providers of sport in the UK and home of world-leading experts.

Since becoming an Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), I’ve enjoyed combining my sessions frequently. When someone needs a massage, they often may need to tune up their nutrition. I like to say I specialize in health coaching, not just prescribing diets and meals plans. I thrive off of assisting my clients in life-long transformational changes and that doesn’t happen with a cookie cutter meal plan.

Your first session with me will be spent getting to know you, establishing your goals (it’s okay if you don’t know them yet), and just talking about what optimal health looks like for you, where will it lead you? Together, we will come up with a personalized program for you.
